Virgin Islands Lottery “Love Your Pet” Photo Release Agreement

YOU MUST READ THIS RELEASE AND BY SUBMITTING YOUR ENTRY YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS

By submitting this entry form and photograph of my pet to be considered as one of 20 photos to be featured on the March 29, 2012 Virgin Islands Lottery Traditional Ticket, I agree with the following rules and regulations of the “Love You  Pet” contest:

In the event my photo is chosen, I authorize The Virgin Islands Lottery, as well as its related subsidiaries, affiliates or companies, their successors, assignees, clients or any other person or authorized organization by these (from here on collectively referred as “the Agency”) to, in an unlimited manner, use my name, my pets’ name, picture and/or photographs, film and/or photograph the subscriber and/or its property, partially or totally. In addition, the entrant authorizes the Agency to use this footage, photograph or picture, or any part of these, for any legitimate intention including the advertising, promotion or announcements or any other purpose related to the product, service, client or campaign indicated in the inscription. The entrant hereby resigns to any right they could have to inspect and/or approve such materials. The entrant hereby releases the Agency and all the people who act under their authorization, of any responsibility or damages that may cause the use of such materials, or any part of them, even if they would be retouched, modified, superimposed, translated or any other altered form. The entrant agrees that the foresaid pictures, films, photographs, recordings, plates, negatives, prints, or any reproduction of these, are and will continue to be property of The Virgin Islands Lottery. In addition, the entrant hereby resigns to any action by damages, by libel, calumny, invasion to the right of privacy or any other claim based on the use, reproduction or exhibition of the materials before indicated. If the commercial or print materials, etc. is used for the Virgin Islands Lottery “Love Your Pet” campaign the entrant would receive a total amount of $20.00. Pets selected by the panel of judges will receive $20 each. Pet with the most popular votes wins $100.

The entrant in addition declares:

1. that I have entirely read this release agreement and agree to its terms;
2. that I have read the “Love Your Pet” VI Lottery Contest Rules and agree to abide by them;
3. that the specific service covered by this release agreement is for VI Lottery printed tickets and promotion of drawings;
4. that the sum before indicated is for the amount of $ 20.00 (U.S. Dollars) without deductions, pets selected by the panel of judges will receive $20 each; pet with the most popular votes wins $100;
5. that the term of this release agreement is permanent or unlimited in scope and usage.

Your submitted pet photo will be up within 24hrs to the Love Your Pet Photo Gallery/ Voting page and to the VI Lottery's Facebook Love Your Pet album, so you can tell your friends and family to vote for your pet.
